East Africa is home to some of the biggest herds of mega fauna left in the world, found in the great Mara triangle. Come join us in Kenya to experience the great migration with hundreds of thousands of wildebeest and zebra on their yearly migration, with cheetah, leopard, hyenas and lions hot on their tails, not to mention the chance to see a Velvety green night adder around camp. Kenya is home to some amazing reptiles and amphibians, and some rare and endemic species are high on the target species list.
Starting on the beautiful coastline of Kenya in search of black and green mambas, Ashes’ spitting cobra, beaked snakes, blue speckled green snake and more. Then over to Tsavo national park in search of red spitting cobras, puff adders and rock monitors. Over to Kakamega forest, the last remnant of central African rainforest in search of rhino vipers, gaboons viper and 2 species of bush viper, and last but no least in search of Kenyas 3 rare and endemic snakes. The Kenyan horned adder will bring us to the great rift valley in Niavasha, the Montane viper will take us to the moorlands of Mount Kenya and Mt Kenya bush viper to the foothills of mount Kenya.
